The Givelify giving app makes it easier than ever for donors to locate and give to your charity. If they are attending your fundraising event in person, they don’t even need to search on Givelify to donate! The Givelify app automatically locates your organization for them.
Updating your location
Are you holding a fundraising event in a different location than your physical address? Want to make your organization easy to find using Givelify’s map feature?
You can edit the information listed under Location for the duration of your event. When the event ends, you can change the information back to your organization’s physical address.
How to edit your organization’s giving app location
Want to get the most out of the location or map feature? Add your organization’s address or event location to your Givelify giving app profile.
Follow these steps:
1. On your computer, log into your organization’s account at analytics.givelify.com.
2. Select Settings > Organization info.
3. Under Location, select Edit in the upper right corner.
4. Enter the location address and select Save.
If your mailing address differs from your physical address, you can edit that information by following the same steps under Mailing Address. This address will not appear in the app.
You can also edit your organization’s phone number, email address, website, and social media links in this section of the Analytics Studio.
Locating your nonprofit using our map feature at your event
While at your event location, log into the Givelify giving app on your phone. Tap the Search tab at the bottom of your screen.
You will then see a map of all the organizations in the area based on your current location. Your device must have location services turned on and the Givelify app must have permission to access your location.
Only organizations within a two-mile radius of your location will appear on the map. Zoom in and maneuver the map with your fingers to find your nonprofit.
Once you’ve found your nonprofit on the map, tap the location pin next to it.
Now that you've updated your address, the new location will automatically appear for any donor who accesses the app at your in-person fundraiser.
