If your organization has signed up for a Givelify giving app account, you have access to a very powerful tool: the dashboard. Using the dashboard, you can view all of your donations, find out who is giving to your organization, and update your app profile.

While the person who originally signed your organization up is automatically set as the account owner, you can add as many extra administrators as you so desire. You can even set specific permission levels for each administrator, allowing them to access as much or as little of your account as desired.

Adding Account Administrators

To allow more people from your organization to access the Givelify dashboard, visit www.givelify.com on your computer and log in to your organization’s account. Then follow these steps:

  1. Click on Settings at the top right corner of your screen
  2. Click on the Officers tab
  3. Click the blue + New Officer button at the top right
  4. Use the drop-down box to select a title and enter the person’s first and last name
  5. Click the button next to Grant access to Givelify account to switch it to the on position
  6. Enter the person’s email address and phone number
  7. When your adjustments have been made, click the blue Invite button
    • To have updates sent to this administrator when donations are received, click the button to the right to switch it to the on position
    • To set permissions for this administrator, click the blue Next: Set Permissions button at the right

Managing Permission Levels

Need to limit what certain administrators are able to see? No problem! The account owner can change permission levels for every individual giving app administrator.

To manage permissions, visit www.givelify.com on your computer and log in to your organization’s account. Then follow these steps:

  1. Click on Settings at the top right of your screen
  2. Click on the Officers tab
  3. Click the Permissions button next to the administrator whose account you would like to limit
  4. Click the blue on/off buttons to select which pages and tabs will be visible to the administrator from within the dashboard
  5. Using the drop-down boxes, select View Only or View and Edit
  6. When your adjustments have been made, click the blue Update button

Changing Your Giving App Account Owner

While you can add as many administrators as you want, your Givelify giving app account can only have one owner. To transfer ownership of your account to a different person, visit www.givelify.com on your computer and follow these steps:

  1. Log in as the current account owner
  2. Click on Settings at the top right of your screen
  3. Click on the Officers tab
  4. Click the Transfer Owner button next to your account
  5. Select the user you want to become the new account owner and save the change
